roots blower on TBI question
ok if i bought a roots type blower (lets say a weiand blower) would i need a carb manifold, and on top of the SC, have a CARB to TBI adaptor plate?
would that worK?
or could i even have a TBI intake manifold?

you would only need a carb/tbi adaptor, then it will bolt up. tuning it to run properly is a whole other issue.
To run a 4 barrel tbi you will not need any adaptor. Tor run a two barrel tbi you would need a holley adaptor. Do not run a 2 barrel tbi on your v8 with a supercharger. Also you will need a stand alone ecu to tune the engine correctly as well as a wideband o2 set up. A big investment.
One of my first major car projects was on a buddys '88 GM pickup 350 TBI truck... he installed a B&M supercharger (no longer manufactured). Long story short, the kit used the stock chip. I know the injectors did not get changed. The kit also came with a larger than stock fuel pump.
