what fuel pump to use ?

what fuel pump to use ?

i have a third gen - 600 + horsepower with spray
400 on motor + 200 nos shot
383, alum heads

55# or 72# siemens injector ? not sure yet
i have a new stock fuel pump in the tank - 2000 miles

will that feed a inline pump (bosch) ?

or can i buy a powerful in the tank pump
& not run a inline pump ?

or do i need 2 pumps ?

any ideas - i am going to pull the tank this weekend

pump brand or ??

You can also check with racetronix.com he has an intank pump with hot wire kit.Heard alot of good things about it

Walbro GSS340 in-tank. And if by some remote chance it's not enough, add a Kenne Bell Boost-a-Pump. Rich Krause at camaroz28.com uses this setup on his F1 procharged fourth-gen to the tune of 750+ hp.

I agree, dont take chances with not enough fuel. Sump the tank and run an external. I run an Aeromotive a1000 with -10 feed line from the tank all the way to the motor.

BTW I think you'll like the 55's better than the 72's with regards to driveability and they should support all the power you want. I had them the last two years and maxed them out at right around 650hp, but I only have 6 so with 8 they should flow enough fuel for 850+hp.
