anyone out there have a super charged LT1 in a third gen??? i'm thinkin about building a mild LT1, not sure on any of the specs, w/ a supercharger on it. i'm very familar with the LT1 as i have a mid 13 sec 96 impala ss
if you want to do it you will need custom brackets. The 4th gen kits mount the supercharger low and on the passenger side, right where the steering box is in the thirdgen's.
what about the brackets for a vette or actually i'm pretty sure the b-body kits mount it drivers side top. but i have to check on that.
actually, you're right, I wasn't even thinking about the b-body kit. That would work perfect as far as I know. 
but actually after all of that money i'd rather spend the extra money and do the LS1 swap instead of the LT1 swap
Do a search, somebody asks the same thing every couple of months. I've helped a friend do it in an 83 Z28 using a 'vette LT1 with C4 vette ati kit, and I've posted info before.

But if you're using F-Body accessories and brackets on the LT1 can you still use the B-Body kit?
