Update on my 89 TT L98 IROC

Unfortunately, we're still in the process of painting the car. Working on a custom hood right now with two air-craft style ducts in the front center (like on the front of a Dodge Viper, except x2). It also has a slight cowl induction look which follows the factory lines. Once thats done, the paint will spray. Anyway, this long delay has given me time to afford some larger turbos and some other mods.

I purchsed two T3/T4 hybrids to replace the smallish volvo turbos that were on.

Turbo Specs:
Turbine- Turbonetics T3 .63AR, Stage 3 Wheel- this was the biggest exhaust housing that would fit on my manifolds and not hit the valve covers.
Compressor- TO4E 57 trim wheel, .50AR
Ball bearing center sections

Also installed 1.6 ratio rocker arms and enlarged the pushrod slots for clearance. I think this should give a decent turbo cam. I measured roughly .460" lift with my dial indicator. Since it is the stock L98 cam, I believe the LSA will be in the range of 116 or 117 (I think the stock spec is 117, but I'm not sure).

I was also thinking of installing 30# injectors in place of my 24# units in currently. However, I'm questioning whether or not that is going to work since I am running a stock prom. What do you all think?

Here is another pic. It gets me excited every time I see the motor. I can't wait to put it back on the road!

Good stuff.
I'd definately recommend getting bigger injectors for that much more airflow capability, it's the right way to do it. The FMU can only go so far before it starts becoming a problem IMO. See if you can find someone locally that will burn you custom chips, alot of people would be glad to. Otherwise, buy all the stuff you need and start learning to tune it yourself, I think that would give you more satisfaction.
