Is this blower worth it??

OK guys......I'm seriously considering getting a blower. It's a roots type Weiand 142. Comes with an intake and pulleys.
On my 400, what type of performance gain do you think I'd see??

I figure only 4 lbs of boost, with my compression ratio of (I think) of around 9.3:1 using KB-147 dished pistons and Dart 70cc heads, and stock fel-pro head gaskets.

Any good questions I should ask about it - I know I am basically taking the guys word that it's a good blower. He says it has less than 1K on it. So I'm just wondering if I should ask him whether it has any bearing noise etc...? I figure you blower guys would have some input on this!

Engine setup is in sig.....I'd rather not tear it down since it's a fresh build. Need your input if you think it's even worth it with my setup! TIA!!

Oh well.

Guess I'll give Weiand a call to see how they think it'll work with my setup.

Did a search, and still undecided as to whether I'll see any big performance gains. I just may get a bigger model blower with more cfm's.

Well after contacting Weiand, it seems a blower wouldn't make much boost on the engine I'm running now.

This is a fresh rebuild and I'm not ready to tear it down to install pistons to lower my static compression to the recommended 8:1. With just under 9.5:1 I have now, it would raise cylinder pressures too much.

Plus I'd have to change the cam to something with a minumum of 112 to 114 LSA.

With the 110 LSA cam in it I have now, I'd blow most of the boost out the exhaust.
