You want a complete, detailed explanation of turbo systems?

Oh man. this would be a BOOK of a post. Pick up the book 'Maximum Boost' by Corky Bell. that'll get you started.

No offense, but a complete, detailed explanation would be HUGE.

You've got the exhaust routing, turbocharger itself, fuel management (and air metering) systems, intake systems, intercooling systems... Then there is matching each component into a 'turbo system' which must also, as a hole, be matched to your engine system....

What specifically are you wanting to know?

No one is going to hand feed you the info you are asking. You will have to make an effort and try SEARCHING for the answers you seek. You can't just expect people to try to answer a question with absolutely no parameters. There is litterally thousands of sites that can teach you what you want to know, including this one. Happy reading.

I don't think sequential set-ups can be called "twin" since "twin" suggests that they are the same size.

Although, we all know they are called twin anyway.

There's a sticky at the top of this forum. Here's a cut and paste from the beginning of it:

Turbo Stuff: READ THIS IF YOU DONT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT TURBOS
For guys asking the same turbo questions over and over......
There are no kits. Read Turbochargers by Hugh MacAinnes and Maximum Boost by Corky Bell. Check out www.skulte.com , www.toohighpsi.com , and the junkyard turbo mailing list on yahoo. Doing a search with "turbo" netted me almost 600 results....
