vortech supercharger for carb. sbc?

vortech supercharger for carb. sbc?

anyone have this setup? was worndering if it's worth the 2,400 pricetag.

i was unable to find my car craft where they added a vortech kit to a carbed 454 ho block with head and cam swap and gained a net 269 horse from the vortech (excuse the precision on hp numbers).

I have my copy . It netted a final 779 hp @ 6100 and 706 lb/ft @5500.

Also, have the Aug 02 Hot Rod where they gained 200 hp on a 383 with hyper pistons:hail:

you can boost on anything. with lower compression and a mild timing curve, it's fine. just don't boost it too much and make sure it has plenty of fuel. the second it detonates though, well, you'll be replacing alot more than pistons
