underhood heat

hey guys, im in the begining stages of a twin turbo build up. i was thinking- isntead of using an SS hood as a means of induction- can you isntead put a filter on it and use it as a way of putting cooler air into the engine compartment- almost like using fender louvers to take heat out of the engine bay. the filter would keep the engine from getting real nasty from the elements- i just like the look of the SS hood but the set up i came up with its not fesable to use it for induction- just a thought, thanks guys.

It could be used for that, but IMO, the filter isn't needed.
