Anyone use Progcharger?

Car: 1990 Camaro IROC-Z
Engine: 350 TPI
Transmission: 700R4
Anyone use Progcharger?
They claim that you can just bolt-on their 9-12psi (P1SC?) to a stock 5.7 TPI and recieve 80% hp gain. Would that be wise though? Can the motor with its stock rods/crank/pistons handle that extra horsepower?
I would like to get the charger, but Im thinking I might want to rebuild my motor before doing so. Build it to suite the charger. I want to run the existing TPI(Im in california-street legal bs) and smog equipment, but Id like to go 383 with forged internals. Is this possible while staying street legal? with original TPI?
Otherwise might as well register my car as a race car and go carb and 671 blower.
