Fuel injection question

I am gunna guess that most of ya'll started with a car that is already EFI , but I want to do a turbo project on a C3 Vette, all of which are carbereted. I have found some kits from edelbrock and holley just wondering if anyone knows for sure if one works better or not. Also on the holley site http://www.holley.com/HiOctn/ProdLin...PFI/MPFIS.html it "has" seperate kits for FI up at the top but none are shown in the lists. Will I need a special manifold for the project? Thanks.

Why not do a blow through turbo setup? If I were in your shoes that is DEFFINETLY the route I would go. Yeah everyone says carb's and turbos dont mix and bla bla bla, it B.S. Go to turbomustangs.com and tell them that and see what they tell you.

If I was in his shoes I'd laugh at this response, and pick up a victor EFI.

The ’82 vette came with FI

As far as blowthrough goes, it can be made to work very well performance wise, but it is somewhat limited in transient response since you basically tune the carb to work NA in the low ranges and the for full boost at WOT

WRT to efi systems, depending on what you're putting it on, swapping a factory efi setup is really no more difficult then going aftermarket.

Yea but what from what I have read the cross fire system (Fuel injection on the '82's) is really crappy. So I would have to go aftermarket, unless does anyone know if the TBI or TPI set up from a 350 3rd gen would work on a C3?

Honestly, if your looking to make power i'd look into a victor efi.
