Catalytic converter

If I remove my catalytic converter, how much extra horsepower will I gain? I have a 305 H.O.

You probably should have posted this in the exhaust board and you would have gotten a better response.

I'd say on a 350 you would probably get around 5 - 10 hp. On a 305 maybe 5hp. It's not enough that you would notice a difference. It might make the car a little louder though.
