NOS & 5 speed

I can't get the picture of a big red purge cloud comming from my black bird... so a few questions...

I'm well versed in NOS theory, but have not yet applied it to my car... my question...

I have a 5 speed.... when I go to shift, of course I release the throttle partly, so NOS is shut off cuz it's only on at WOT, once I shift and punch the throttle, it should turn on... is this alot of stress for my 305, turning on & off between shifts?

Should I get a progressive controller, or will it be fine with out it...

That's kind of an open ended question. What do you want. Reliability from a sprayed 305? Your asking a lot. How much will you spray? How do you shift? Smooth? How is the suspension? Do you chirp the tires when shifting?

A controller that meters the n2o w/ RPM is what your looking for. Something that resets when you lift. But you won't get all you can from it set up that way.

The car is not a daily driver, & reliability, if setup properly, shouldn't be an issue....

100 hp shot....

Car has mods, suspension, ignition, etc...

I understand what the progressive controller does, but how would the engine handle a shot for a few seconds, off, on, off, on, etc...

I'm sure I'm not the only person with a 5 speed....
