just wanted to thank all the guys here on this forum for helping build my first blown engine. To name a few are damon, fbird88 and a huge thanks to spacgost79 for helping me buid it. Just wanted to post a few pics of what was built. thanks again. here's the list.

weiand 142, afr 180 74cc heads with upgraded spring kit, jegs stud gridle, comp 1.6 roller rockers, comp roller lifters, xtreme 276 .502/.510 cam, arp bolts through it, etc.

well the engine is in the ride and finished the minor stuff yesterday. took the car out and the car is completely insane. first gear is pointless except for putting rubber on the 1/4 panels, second does hook until the secondaries kick in then blows tire again. -lol. this is great. i know it has a chance for low 12's if i can get it to hook at the track. mickey streets might be on order sooner than i wanted. i am going to make a video of the engine idling and revving so you guys can hear it. slapi, where in CT are you located? I see all these 3rd gen guys now with blowers. I might be moving back to CT (spent over 23 years there) this summer and will be in the Norwich area with my ride (1991 1LE with a 14lb P1SC / 383).

 

i live in norwalk. alot more third gens floating around here now. my ride is an 2nd gen, but the help from the guys here is great.
