in the manual (which sucks) by the way, it says to disconnect the tb hose for the breather (i have an open breather in the valve cover on the pass side) then it says to disconnect the vacuum line from the PCV to vent, how does this work and how does it affect normal driving? i thought you needed the PCV system

As the PCV hose would be pressurised when the motor is under boost all you would need to do is install some hose clamps to the PCV hose at the PCV valve and at the intake manifold fitting to ensure the hose does not blow off under boost. As long as the other valve cover is vented you should be fine. The vent on the other valve cover should be filtered. I wrap two layers of the blue paper shop towels around my valve cover vent and attach them with a few plastic tie wraps, to filter the air. Just replace whenever they get dirty.
I actualy use a common lawnmower muffler for my valve cover vent.
Be sure that you have oil baffles under your valve covers to prevent oil from being drawn into the PCV or blown out the vent under boost. Under manifold boost the PCV valve will close preventing boost from escaping out the PCV at WOT.
No need to eliminate the PCV system for a blown application.
Just needs a few mods.

Thats funny. One time I needed a breather for my 454 and I had a new lawn mower or small car oil filter lying around that I used. A piece of 3/8 pipe (I think) screwed right in it and fit the valve cover good. I have used them several times since on different projects, works good , exspecially when you need one yesterday.

Not to hyjack at all . But I was worried about what to do with the breather tube adn PCV system for the new turbo setup I am gonna run
I figured I would just run them before the turbo in the ducting . Or is this a bad idea ?

D's89IROCZ, I'd just vent the breather to atmosphere, that way the oil vapors dont coat your compressor(s) and intercooler if you use one. You can vent the breather before the turbo, better for the enviroment but not the turbo. I'd leave the pcv as stock and clamp the lines if they give any problems, that way they'll work normally out of boost.
