edelbrock base&porting plenum--w-boost?

is it worth while to port the plenum and install an edelbrock base, what abouit runners as&m large tube or semi simeased is any of this stuff worth the money when you already are pushing 6psi boost---mods are in sig thinking abouit going with a new cam this winter to complement the afr heads i installed last winter.and yes i know that i could just run more boost but take pity --i'm running a paxton and we have all herd the horror stories abouit them

thanks--pete

You may lose some boost but you will still gain some power. The engine will be working more efficiently, and will make less boost but flow more air which is really better.

The AS&M runners are prety good. Ive seen lots of people get good results with them.
