Well... If I were buying a supercharger today it would be an intercooled Procharger. I bought Paxton in 92 (SN92). Back then there just wasn't a lot of choices out there. The boost is limited, the RPM range is limited and Paxton couldn't care less about GM guys. No "over the counter" NOVI upgrades are available, Paxton doesn't use intercooling, & quite frankly my experiences in the past with their service sucked! I've got a long horror story about the service I recieved from them.
I have intentions of replacing the Paxton with a Procharger in the future. The Paxton ball drive superchargers are good for otherwise stock engines that are going to stay that way. My current engine is a long way from stock & could really benifit from more airflow, and Paxton can't provide it.

Good, that's what I needed to hear. I have a car just like your's but I wanted to just "bolt in" a system w/out hassels and w/out swapping pulleys, but I guess I'll have to. thanks

Justin, I checked out your webpage. Your car looks about like something I would build, lol. It's pretty nice. With your mods I definitly wouldn't jerk around wih a Paxton. There are just to many better options out there these days. Swap to a serpentine system & pay a few extra bucks for a Vortech or Procharger. I'm gonna retire this Paxton to family truckster (van with stock 5.7+TPI) duty & go Procharger on the IROC-Z.
