Supercharger and Miniram
Supercharger and Miniram
Will the bolt on ATI and vortech supercharger kits bolt on to a Minirammed 88 L98 GTA? If the answer is no, what sort of work am I looking at in order to bolt one up? Plumbing fabrication? Minor cutting/drilling? Complete custom setup?
Note: I am targetting High RPM power here, so I will likely go with one of the larger superchargers, like the ATI D1, or Vortech's equivalent. Peak RPM of 6000-6500 with peak power up in that range (high 5000s)

mini ram installation tips link. That is my home page and what I had to go through to get it to work with Vortech. Its easier with ATI but its really only cutting the water neck on a vortech that makes it more difficult. LOL
Good luck!

There is really no mods to install a ATI kit with the miniram, only thing is,the intake rubber that goes to throttle body.I ordered a longer one, about a foot and a half,it was too much but Im gonna cut it to fit,its because the minram sits a few more inches back than the stock tpi, besides that nothing else.Guido knows about the Vortechs, either setup will rip with the miniram.A good choice IMHOP,I think the best for our cars when running forced induction, hands down,1 pioece design eliminates sealing headaches
