MAX N20 RPM????

What is the best RPM to go up to with the N20? I am running 125 shot, and I know n20 lets my motor pull A HELL of alot harder, so I know it can pull into the red..just how far do I push it??? Any suggestions would be nice...

Zach

not over 5300 Id say......If its a tbi, lower. a tuned port engine is really useless much over 5000.

If you haven't upgraded the bottom end (crank, rods, rod bolts, etc, then you would be safer to stick to the stock redline. That is unless you don't mind the posibility of puking the motor.

A standard,, push the button nitrous kit will produce the most torque on your engine at the point of engagement. The lower the rpm the more torque. If you get the best time off nitrous shifting at say 5500 rpm, don't run the nitrous up any higher than your regular shift point - no matter how
appealing it may be to you. That's where a lot of people are quick to blame nitrous for blowing their engine up. That along with the number one reason,,, the lack of an adequate fuel system, and number two,,, too much timing. The vast majority of nitrous "mishaps" falls back on user error,, not the nitrous system,, per say.

Make sure you have plenty of fuel for what ever shot you're running. Shift at,, or a couple hundred UNDER your normal shift point. Under he says???? Try it,, you'll like it,, the extra torque nitrous makes down low (short shifting a few hundred),, more than makes up for it. I always dropped the initial timing a few degrees with a 150 shot,, when I didn't have the electronics to do it upon engagement.

Good luck,, and HAPPY,,, HAPPY trails to you!!

You're not going to want to bring it above red line. Nitrious doesn't change your redline. Only way your gonna rev higher is if you get a bigger cam.

i know this is bad but my tranny is dead and wont shift until 6500rpm under w.o.t. If something breaks i'll just get a better one.
