used superchargers
Not knowing much about superchargers, iwas wondering if you could get a used S/C off of lets say a wrecked Pontiac Grand Prix GTP and modify it to fit an LB9.This is a question from a guy who knows nothing about superchargers so if its stupid please be kind.

a gtp setup would be near impossible to put on an f-body. Any setup from another car would take a lot of fabrication. Mounting brackets, boost tubes, etc.
if you want to put a supercharger on your car, your best bet is using a packaged kit from paxton, ati, vortec, etc..

This reply is for the guy asking about used superchargers. I will know with in a week if I will have a complete intercooled procharger for sale at a good price. I am seriosly considering another kit for my '89 Iroc.
