Ok guys.....the nitrous is going in this weekend. I'm taking the 327 out and putting the 305 back in for a while. It's
completely stock (low mileage)except: open element, full length exhaust, 160 thermo & the 125 shot. The rear I'm
putting in is a NICE 3.73 rear w/ SLP posi and drag radials. The tranny is a healthy 700 R4 w/ stage 3 kit and
manual valve body. Meaning I have full control of it when ratchet shifting. I shift at 5800-6000 in first and 55-5700
from 2 to 3>>>>>>>what do you think she'll run???
I'm hoping 13's. i think it's possible.

I think you may hit 13s but your shift points sound a little high for a stock 305 especially with nitrous.

ouch, dont float the valves...
i thought 305 tbi's ran out of breath around 4800? you float ure valves they will hit the pistons, stock springs dont have enuf pressure to push the valves back up at that many rpms.

sounds like you might have a little high of a set RPM, lower it a little say around 5,000 my 305 loses it's breat at around 4,800 RPM's and shorten the shifts a little when under nitrous, l'm running 100 horse shot on my otherwise stock, except for some minor bolt-ons and l like to shift it at around 4,800-5,000
-I think you should be able to hit 13's with it
good luck
