Nos past the rev-limiter

Lets say I'm running a MSD 6-AL and my t-5 pops outta gear like it usually does in 2nd. Since I'm running the rev would this nos that isn't burnt hurt my engine? Should I get a rpm activation switch to shut off the nos before the rev-limiter? Thanks Derrick

You will not hurt the motor, since the MSD cuts sprak and not fuel, it will not cause a lean condition. However an Rpm switch is not a bad idea anyway.
