hey I keep cutting the hose with the upper metal pulley on the super charger bracket thats for the engine belt not the super charger belt, has anyone else had this prob and what do you do about it? other than zip tie the hose up to the intake tube?

put a section of steel tubing in the hose in the section that rubs.

On the paxton i'm selling there is a bracket that goes over that pulley that probably stops what you are talking about.

it looks like this:

<--3"---->

_________|
|

and is 3" high as well. there is a notch cut out to attatch it to the pulley mouting bolt behind the bracket.

perhaps you can make a similar part to stop the hose from rubbing... are you using the new hose paxton supplies with the kit?

thanks 89 I figured it had to be something like that, I had a big chunk of a 3" aluminized exhaust pipe. its what I used for my intake system, cut a piece of that in half and drilled a hole in it, looks pretty decent and works awesome.
