Starting new motor tomorrow,tips please.
I cranked over my motor today,After figuring out what was giving me fits and causing a no start it was the ground hooked up to the vats module.I just grounded it and it cranked.I noticed oil presure with just cranking of the motor yeilded 30 psi oil pressure, this is good sign right?Boy Im nervous.I did find I didnt tighten doen one tranny line fixed that.Any tips to look for when starting the new motor? It has been run and broken in on the dyno,so this is not its first start.Any tips apperciated.I aslo did notce my high output starter was turning all right, but I expected more out of it,the motor turning that 12 rib for the blower doesnt help either. Can you guys believe my other Optima battery took a dump?It died and would not take a charge,I had to buy another one.I ask this in this forum because us blower guys replace motors more often. Thanks guys
