Roots supercharger questions

Anybody using a roots-type, single-carb, "mini-blower" such as Weiand's or Holley's Powercharger? I've looked at it, and it keeps looking more and more appealing to me. Will a 4" cowl hood clear it, or does it require a hole in the hood? Can you keep A/C? I'm assuming a new radiator from Griffin or Be-Cool would be neceassary to offset the extra heat. How's the reliability, ease of tuning, or anything else you can think of?

Erson cam, ported heads,Comp Cams 1.6:1 rocker arms
Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, Holley 600
Crane Hi-6 ignition, Accel supercoil
TH350 tranny with 2500 stall.
Eibach Pro Kit
SLP 1 3/4" headers

~ Not in a 3rd gen, but yes, a 144.

~I am thinking it will be close, but probably not
Can you keep A/C?
~ Dont think so, but a call to B&M should clear that up.

~ Maybe, but if it is in good shape, probably not
How's the reliability,
~ Good.
ease of tuning,
~ Not really much harder than any other motor.
or anything else you can think of?
~ I have a buddy with a generic 350, with a blower cam & he is running 12.6's, with minimum boost (his gauge is not working, but he has the small pully on the blower).

The smaller the pulley the more the boost.
