350 build-up suggestion

I plan to build a pontiac 350 carb setup soon, to put in a 1985 T/A. I was just wonderin if any of you had some suggestions for mods/engines. Such as good combos and what not that you have found from building burly panchos.

Thanx in a advance.

Peace,
-Curt

Don't bother with a pontiac 350, there a weak motor and you'll have very little luck finding aftermarket parts for it

My suggestion, go with a chevy 350, no problem modding that what so ever

I agree with Bandit about the Chevy block. It probably won't be necessary, but try to get a 4 bolt main and a one piece rear seal. Most pickups from 87 up have that design.

If you have any questions just drop me an email. Its a pretty simple swap. if you have a TBI or TPI car now then you need to switch the fuel pump and I think the fuel lines too to go to a carb.

Mine isn't carbed out yet, but I can help with everything else...
