belt differences

what is the diff between a 6 groove and a 10 groove belt? is there and power differences? i am new to the whole supercharger thing

4 grooves


Well more accurately, 4 ribs, usually you refer to the belt as having ribs and the pulleys having grooves.

The more ribs a belt has the less chance it has to slip when properly tightened. There won't be a difference in power output unless there is slippage present...
