roots style?
how come I can't seem to be able to find anyone on here running a roots style blower on their car? I would have thought the whipple/eatons would have been popular.
you can get a MP112 dirt cheap you just need a lower intake manifold that would allow you to mount it

no one makes anything to make an MP112 a direct bolt on, so it all has to be fabricated. there has been a few guys that put them on, one guy i remember did twin m90's on a jy 305 in a malibu. it was pretty neat.
just fyi, whipples and eatons are twin screw blowers, not roots.

I was generalising and actually an m90/m112 is NOT twin screw.
twin screw compresses air before it ever leaves the blower an m90/m112 compresses air in the lower intake manifold.
you're saying you can't get a lower intake manifold to mount a m112 to a SBC? wtf
reason is I'm rebuilding my 383 and because of the cam I used it has no ***** on the low end (under 3500rpm) I wanted to run a non intercooled blower setup with about 12psi to bring the low end back.

there's loads of ways to do it, and it's not that hard... do a search here, saturn5, rooster and I have posted pics and descriptions multiple times.
