hey i picked up a used NOS cheater nitrous system at carlisle last week. I need to get a bottle bracket for it. Ive been looking all over the web and cannot find anythign for my size bottle? the bottle is 19.5 inches in diameter. its either a 20 or 25 lb bottle. let me know where i can purchase a bracket(s) to suit my bottle thanx chris

 

did you measure the circumfrence? diameter is length straight through the bottle. flip it upside down and measure across the bottom.

uhm. look at the numbers on the bottle. it should say a a date/year type thing like...


8-85 being august 1985. thats the thinner , longer 10lb bottle, vs the newer wider, shorter 10lb bottle. also measure the diameter and call jegs and tell them you need bottle brackets for an old "such an such diameter" bottle.

they should be able to get it for you. or goto the NOS website. (google it)

 

thanks for the help. I dont have the original sticker on it anymore, i stripped the bottle and repainted it. I didnt even think I would need the old sticker..oops So i just measured the bottom of the bottle across and it measure 4inches so i think im gonna order a 4in diameter bottle bracket

 

the bottle numbers are engraved in the top half of the bottle. should be like.. 4+ inches of text...
