Supercharger with 11.0:1 compression?

Just a thought for now.. But can I add a supercharger with 11.0:1compression? I have a 383 stroker with:

1) Dart Pro 1 heads 215cc/ 64cc
2) Accel DFI 7 with wideband o2
3) SRP forged 11.0:1 flattop pistons
4) Eagle I-beam rods
5) Eagle crank
6) cam motion cam
7) holley stealth ram intake
8) BBK twin 58mm throttle body
9) Accel 30# Injectors

I've seen the 93-97 F-body kits available from Procharger which are 4.5 PSI,
I had a 95 T/A which was 10.5:1 compression, If this can be done what gains should I expect?

to be honest, i wouldnt do it.. 11:1 is pushing pump gas as is.. if you run straight 110 then i would say hit up 7psi.. and gain 100+rwhp..

if you really want to boost, get the pro 1's with the 72 cc chamber..

Here's what running 7lb of boost on a 10.5:1 motor did

Re: Supercharger with 11.0:1 compression?

sure it can be done, but its going to need some GOOD fuel!

Probably C16 minimum for a few pounds of boost, then maybe something stupid like C23 if you want to run more boost

I think your better off buying some larger chamber heads. then if your lucky you might get away with pump gas. For the cost of a drum or 2 of race fuel, you can buy new heads!

Re: Supercharger with 11.0:1 compression?

hey thats crackys car!!!!

i am going to run a 355 with about a 9-9.2:1 compression with a 3 core intercooler and kept the boost down to max 10psi.... i should be able to run 93 plus keep head gaskets......

but 11.1:1 is way to much!......

Re: Supercharger with 11.0:1 compression?

Water/methanol spray injection cooling would help, however 11.0:1, still pushing it. Heck I know some guys go below 8.0:1 when they supercharge *L*
