how much fuel?
i was wondering if any of the EFI guys could help me out,
i am currently running a 150 shot on my bone stock 305(12.93@108)
with 19lb/hr injectors, and stock fuel pressure,
i plan on buying a 350 short block with forged pistons, rods, blah blah blah
and want to run at least that much or slightly more nitrous, until i aquire more parts to complete my ebay T70 turbo set up,
my question is what size injectors would you reccommend for a heavy nitrous motor 150-200 wet kit, and eventually a mild-medium turbo set up 5-7 psi along with a mild nitrous-50-75 shot.
i was looking at the accel 30 or 32lb/hr ones in jegs...???
and also would the holley in-tank replacement fuel pump be enough for this kind of set up? i believe its 404lbs/hr 255lph @45 psi
please dont tell me i need one of these aeromotive or barry grant pumps,
my uncle's fuel system for his 740hp '79 TA cost him $1250.

Re: how much fuel?
depends how radical your motor is going to be without the bottle. the more power you make with out it the more you will need when you spray. 30 lb should be good for 400-450 hp range. you shouldnt have to spend to much on a pump. im running a walbro 255 set at 49 psi and accel 28 lb injectors and i have ran 100 shot for countless runs.

Re: how much fuel?
Keep your stock injectors if you are keeping the 305 stock and upgrade the fuel pump to either the holley or walbro 255 high pressure pumps. You will have to lower the fuel jet once you get a good pump that doesn't drop pressure vs the stocker.
For a 350-383 at 6500 rpm, I needed 36lb injectors to stay below the 80% duty cycle. With the 30's I was at roughly 84%, but could have run them with more pressure to compensate.
