Re: Question about tourqe converters..

I was going to ask the same thing. I need a TH400 converter that will stall @ 3000 with 550ftlbs and still handle a trans brake. The 550ftlbs is at launch and then will ramp up to an est 850ftlbs. Any ideas people? Thanks. John

Re: Question about tourqe converters..

first, put this in the correct forum, this is for power adder, ie turbo, nitrous, supercharger.

But to answer you're question.

Neal Chance, Yank, PTC (what i run), Vigilante, Coan are all good converters for higher HP applications, Edge converters seem to be working well for a lot of guys on this board in medium (400hp or so motors). They range anywhere from $500-1000 for the said named brands
