Well, I have just finished the motor in my 84 z28......i went with a balanced 355 4 bolt main, now comes the part on how to make it really hum...i'm running 416 heads witch translates to 305 HO, along with hyper pistons from speed pro forged eagle rods and an esp eagle crank....does anyone have an idea on if my motor would hold a 150 shot of nos? or would it detonate and fly out of my car in a million pieces

if everything is put together correctly, and you have the proper tuning, 150 should be fine, heck i ran 150 shot on the stock 305. Those heads are killing you're motor though, a simple upgrade to some vortecs would make a world of difference.
If you are talking about Nitrous, I run 180+ on my stock 350 with 170K miles.
cool, thanks for the advice...Thing about my 416s is they aint killin me too bad.....they were built for dirt track racing and have about 25 thou shaved off....plus they have z28 springs and 2.02 intake valves.....super high compression
