HSR: N2O nozzles location/shark vs spray bars.

Thinking about N2O for my HSR IROC and am curious where the nozzles are best located and if the shark nozzles are really any better than the spray bars at 150-175 HP levels. I'm wanting a clean, low profile (almost hidden) install and am not looking for a "bolt on" type setup. I don't mind fabricating, drilling, tapping etc.

I saw a spray bar/plate setup where the solenoids were right beside the throttle body on the passengers side and it looks like it would be pretty easy to put the 'noids sort of half under the plenum and make it look real clean.

The shark type nozzle might be pretty clean too, but some I've seen had lines running from the TB out over the valve cover and it looked cluttered to me.

depending on your intake you could put the nozzle on the underside and tap it in the run your lines up towards the headlights with wire loom covering them or run them straight back towards motor depending where you want your solenoids(easier i think to hide up by headlights)

I used to have the old 5151 NOS spray bar. I upgraded to an NX Shark nozzle and I could immediately tell a difference. I'd estimate 20 hp improvement, same jetting. It is so much easier to hide a little nozzle and place your solenoids hidden down below. I'd personally spot a plate quickly. I run a WOT voltage sensing activation switch too for stealth. Mechanical WOT switches on the throttle body are a dead giveaway.

Also, I run my NX Shark underneath (pointing straight up) the 90 near my throttle body about 8 inches forward of the blades. It is hard to spot. I'm very pleased with the performance of it but I don't believe that one Shark can support 250hp as they claim. 150-175 isn't an issue.

Cold Fusion makes a nozzle set up that fits under the injectors. You have the advantage of 8 nozzles and direct port injection. This set up evens out the spray pattern for each cylinder. http://www.coldfusionnitrous.com/efi...?CategoryID=20
These are the nozzles:
