ebay twin turbo kit
Hey I saw this on ebay the other day and was wondering what everyone thought of it. The headers are the 304 which is supposed to be the cheaper material. they are t3 turbos so they don't put ou too much, but theres two.

dont waste your money. You can build your own kit for almost the same price and use better parts.

A few people on this board have gone the ebay way and have been burned. The turbos break right away and are junk. Thats why they are so cheap. Save some extra money and do it right.

Re: ebay twin turbo kit
I have built all of my headers so far using cast manifolds or all weld elbows (schedule 40 steel). One setup I played with was a single turbo T4 header kit from ebay. It is made of .050" wall stainless steel. The S/S is not magnetic, but I don't know if it is 304 grade. I think the left side tubular header, cross-over pipe, and right side T4 turbo header was $230 shipped. I removed the stock #2 cyl elbow and installed a 304 S/S schedule 40 elbow for strength. I also moved the wastegate pipe at the same time. I didn't like how it was attached to the cyl #2 pipe.
I had to cut and modify it to fit properly for my application. I have yet to put it into daily use. I also made a brace from the engine mech. fuel pump bolt holes up to the T4 flange.
Overall, I am neither pro or anti Ebay (really China) turbo stuff. Every product has it's intended application. If appropriately used in the right place then all will be fine.

Do you have a picture of the brace you made? I'm considering making one and I'm currently looking for ideas. Pics of your modded header would be good to see too.
