modifications

started with a stock 86 iroc tpi 5.0 auto, added paxton blower 6psi, re-built eng. .030 over, kieth blk hyp piston, moly ring, world sr torq head, mild edelbrock cam (grind very close to lt1 spec) roller 1.52 rocker. still have 19lb/hour bosch injectors and stock ecm/prom. i think i will need to upgrade injector size and burn custom prom, any suggestion on injector size?? good place to get custom prom?? or are there better options of aftermarket ecm/harness to replace factory ecm/harness??

Re: modifications

What kind of numbers you running. horsepower, quarter mile times, etc?

I want to get a vortech holley stealth ram, a lt4 cam, and some pro comp 64cc heads for my 305. On top would be my rebuild supercharger with 8spi of boost. I am hoping to get 400 hp with my tiny 305. I am going to run my 305 until it dies, then switch all the parts onto the 350 I am planning on building. why you didn't use the forged pistons instead?

Re: modifications

before the engine re-build, stock 305 with sn 93 blower stock injectors at 50.5 psi fuel pressure, ran 5.95 0-60 / 13.56 1/4 mile, clocked with vericom 2000 (old style accelerometer computer, before g-techs came out) cant say it was accurate, but i was more than satisfied with the power. have just re-built engine, not broken in yet, just cruising and jousting, for now.
