Lb9 Turbo torque and horsepower

How much does a 305 make w/ a single turbo? Would it be worth the effort or should I do a 4.3l turbo v6 motor w/ gmc syclone specs?

v-8 will always make more power. well a larger inch motor as the 305 is a 5.0 vrs 4.3 265 i think. both share about the same limits as far as duribility issues.. it really depends on the heads cam and so on for what power it will make but stock for stock the 305 will make more hp and a lot more torque
