Injector size for N2O
OK. I need new fuel injectors. But don't know what I need to get. I have a cammed and mini rammed 350. Should put out 400hp at the crank. After doing some calculations. The motor is calling for 32lb/hr injectors with 43.5psi at 80% duty cycle. But I have a Zex dry system I plan on putting on it also. Plan on doing a 125 shot. So with that on there it's calling for 42lb/hr injectors. Now that's also with the fuel pressure at 43.5 and a duty cycle at 80%. Now in order to run the N2O with the 32's I will have to pump the pressure up to 77psi. Which means I will be getting close to the lock up territory of the injectors. Last thing I want to do is max out the injectors and blow something up. Now can I run the 42's that will be perfectly in there range with N2O and just turn them down for the NA part when off the N2O. Just don't know what to go with. It might be that it's 3:00am and I'm tired as hell. But any help would be great! Thanks for the help in advance! Adam :-)
