Cheapest non N2O, SC or TC upgrades
Ok my dad wont let me get a TC, SC or N2O cuz well frankly he thinks ill kill myself in in a glorious Fireball... i disagree but whatever ya know? Anyway... i saw this post a while ago, some guy wanted some HP just like i do without the things ive stated... However after my searchs i couldnt find the magic words to dig it up.
I have a stock 1982 SC 305 H.O. H motor... seems to be in good condition... (just bought it on the 6th)
I have a budget of about 500 - 750. However i dont mind anyone going over the limit just because ill use this for future refrence.... im lookin for Approx RWHP gains. supposedly this car had 140 stock (RWHP? or Flywheel?) and i jusdt dont see how this American muscle V-8 could have only 40 - 50 more stock HP than my ****-hole 1995 Cavalier stock... and the same amount as a 2006 Civic LX... i just dont see it...
Please if you insist on Flaming. Flame and then leave well enough alone.. there is no need to beat a dead horse... i DID search for the older post... But i am still learning about cars... from knowing little only months ago...
Thank you all very much for reading this and anyhelp you can offer me.

Try moving your thread to a different location, this section IS FOR n2o, TC and SC.
Auto or stick?
Im gonna say basics like, gears, headers. not many cheap mods you can really do to a carbs car that makes no power..
Maybe a new intake?

Exhaust sounds like the best place for you to start, as that's something you should probably address before doing any other engine mods to increase power.
