Silicone couplers

Ok I feel silly for even asking this and maybe Im thinking too hard about it

How much can a silicone coupler compress around a tube? How well do they seal on a TPI/LT1 throttle body? Can T-bolts clamp an oval as good as a circle?

Most people agree a 4" coupler will fit a TPI TB fine, but my caliper shows my Z06 MAF has an inlet of 3.8" and an outlet of 3.65"

Thats alot to compress with a 4" coupler and 3.75" to 4" reducer couplers are hard to find. Nearly everything is in .5" increments like common pipe sizes
