My ProCharger DSMIC & Cog Belt thread

I'm planning on a ProCharger F1 with a max boost of 24psi. I know Willie had a cog belt and DSMIC setup on his Camaro before going twin turbo.

Thanks!

Alex

An LB9, just like Willie's original setup.

Re: My ProCharger DSMIC & Cog Belt thread

I am not 100% positive, but the part number you have listed for your main bracket is the universal small block chevy bracket not the F Body specific one. From what I recall to use the SBC bracket you have to get an adapter also. For ease of bolting the F1 on I'd go with the F Body bracket.

Also with that pulley combo you are going to be at 69300 Impeller RPM, The F1 max is 70000, so you might want to think about the F1A it's max is 74000. I sure hope your running an after market ECM w/ a rev limiter too.

Ok thanks, I'll verify that bracket PN.

I doubt I will ever see more than 20psi more than a couple times but I'll look into this too. I'm going to be running code$59 on a 730 ECU so just fuel cut off for a rev limiter. The engine most likely won't see past 6500RPM or 6700RPM max.

I'd rather not. I have other threads for that and I'd rather keep this on topic.
