If i a weiand or a magnacharger blower to my 350 will i need to get a different hood than my stock one?

I'm pretty sure even the 144 blowers require at least a 2" cowl to get a decent air filter on top of the carb.

I'm not aware of a magnacharger that is made for our cars. They do offer one but it's for the '10 camaro. If you could get one to work it would probably a custom fuel injection and might clear depending on how you did it. Course what does it matter if you're going to that much work building a supercharger system a hood swap is easy at that point.

A vortec or procharger will fit nicely with low profile carb bonnet.

Magnacharger makes a MP-122H for carbed cars. You'll need a 4" cowl hood at the least to fit it on. The wing nut on my air cleaner just touches the hood - and it's a low profile style cleaner.

I've heard you can go down to a 3" cowl using the weiand blower, you may want to do a search on that though. The best "sleeper" option would be a Vortec or Procharger blower as Ronny said above.
