88 GTA

Been working on this build for a little while...
1988 GTA 305/700R-4 220K miles before it gave out...
2001 LQ9 bored out to 4.030
Mahle Pistons/Mahle Performance rings
Callies 6.125 rods
Callies Compstar 4" stroke crank
flowed 317 heads(325cfm)
Lingenfelter intake with 4 bolt LS2 90mm TB adapter
LSX Fuel Rails
83lb Racetronix high impedance injectors
034 motorsports standalone
Stainless works turbo manifolds
2 Precision billet v band inlet/outlet 6765H turbos
Tial 44mm wastegates
Art Carr 200-4R/Art Carr Converter
Hughes heavy duty flexplate
QP 9" rear/moser m9(still deciding) with 3.25 gears

Goal is to run 8.5s @roughly 18-20 psi which should be 1000/1000 at the wheels. Also want to do some mile runs since I know what these cars are capable of aero wise. Banks 454 GTA made 283mph with 1600 to the tires in 1988/89. TC is rated to 1000, transmission is rated to 1000,rear and center chunk rated to at least that. Car's weight will be 2800-3000. Even if I have to cut more out, I will get below 3000.

Got the engine and transmission in for test fitting. They fit like a glove. The crossmember lines up perfectly also. Also put on a turbo header and they fit pretty well also. The turbos will sit right in back of the headlights, downpipes going down the center in back of the rad. Also got some more gas for the TIG, so I can start fabricating a radiator mount. Cut off the old radiator mounts top and bottom. Also mounted the turbos and manifolds to see how they would go:
