Eenie meenie

So I'm still putting together a parts list my 383 supercharger build.
I've found a cam that I've carefully selected, but now I've found another cam that is supercharger spacific and I'm wondering if it's a better catch.

The one I picked:

Advertized dur.- 306 int./314 exh.

At 050- 240 int./248 exh.

Lobe sep- 114

Lift with factory arms- 0.558 int./0.558 exh.

The new one:

Advertized dur.- 268 int./276 exh.

At 050- 215 int./218 exh

Lobe sep- 115

Lift with factory arms- 0.489 int./0.503 exh.

I know there's going to be all kinds of factors that go into it. I'm building it for street/strip using a Weiand 177 for now planning to eventually go to a 6-71

There is a huge difference in those cams. Everyone will chime in, you should call the cam tech lines and they will ask for specifics to help you match your components.

I know there's a huge difference, but this is my first time throwing out a stock cam and I'm also new to this supercharger thing. Here's a link to my setup I think I'm going with.

ED:call cammotion and get a custom grind as mentioned. You'll be happy you did probably especially if you plan on taking it on the street. They'll want to know weight, converter stall (if auto) gears etc. There's usually a fairly long list of parts to make a "good" match.
