Need some help????
Hi I was wondering if anyone knows of how info on the old style paxtons for the TPI cars...I just had an SN92 installed on my wifes 91 z28 350 tpi with speed density..so far I did one step colder plugs,255 lph fuel pump, I set the timing at 6 degrees, fuel pressure is at 52 psi..im installing an AEM air fuel gauge this week just had the bung welded to see what air fuel is...my question is I tried making a tube to go to the stock air back I did I have to take pictures of it so you guys can see what I mean...well while it boost it was bogging really bad...so I let off then I thought to myself wonder if the tube isn't allowing a lot of air flow so I disconnected and wow the blower is whistling so loud now and no more bog...could it be the tube is crap its a black plastic tube or can the stock air box be restrictive??? any help would be great I don't see many of these cars with blowers lol..oh yeah I sent the blower to paradise wheels to be upgraded to the better bearing impeller it makes about 7-8 psi....nice blower...so far...lol thanks for any help...

Re: Need some help????
for along time I could never go WOT cause it was lean I ended up putting an external mallory EFI pump with boost ref reg. with #8 lines to solve my problem I don't use an FMU since I went to the bigger pump and and Inj. 36 or 42 one thing i did have to do when I installed the mallory pump was to remove my factory reg it wouldn't flow enough thru it so it regulated the pressure instead of the aftermarket regulator and I use a factrory prom no burnt chips or anything and it runs just fine
