centrifigal for carbs

I have a carburated 84 lg4 that i plan on putting in a 350. I am very interested in using the vortech carburated supercharger on. Are there any other carburated setups that I can use? I know that with the vortech I need a 4150 or a demon carb, but does it fit? any problems? Is it worth it? Any help ia greatly appreciated.

these are crap, my freind got one for his 540 merlin and it works horrible, roots type blowers are the only way to go, the threw the carb units make the mixture very erratic and not run right.

i don't really know much about superchargers, but started thinking that i really want one. my former plan was to build a 375-400hp 350, but then started thinking that i could use a smaller cam and lower compression, and put on a blower and have 475-500 hp and be more streetable. I'd like any and all advice on parts recommendations and prices, install tips, what i should do for the engine, and anything else that can be thrown in. Thanks
