nitrous+vortec heads anyone???
so I'm in the process of fine tuning my nitrous set up,im spraying a 150shot. did a pass pulled a plug and appears that the plug I'm currently running is to hot. its a heat range 5. so I was going go to a heat range 7. how ever for the vortec heads I cant seem to find any 7's seems like they go from 6 straight to 8.
just wondering what everyone else is running on their set ups as far as spark plugs

AC delco's (what i ran for the longst time) run a R44LTS stock, and only offer a plug 2 steps colder (R42LTS) After 500 miles on my blower car they looked great, so i would probably give them a shot.

PS. I belive R42LTS6 burns just about as hot as the R44LTS. I would have to double check. I found the chart yesterday but cant seem to find it again. Regaurdless the R42LTS's are what i ran all last year without issues on 5.5lbs of boost

I am running a NGK 1049 B8EFS. It's a heat range 8, so far no fouling out with regular driving. It should take me to a 200-250 shot.
I ran a rt44 with 100 shot, and it was a little hot, so I jumped to the 8. The 1049 is pretty common and easy to find. You probably don't need an 8 for a 150 shot. The 7 will be fine.
