Should i go for turbo or compressor?

I was wondering what´s the best option on a stock 305 tpi...turbo or a compressor?
What´s most effective considering that it has to work as a daily driver ...
And finaly what´s the difference in money and maintaining these power adders.
Please bare with me cause I´m a new to this.

Considering you have a stock 305 I would put the thousands of $$$ you'd have into supercharging or turbocharging and plunk a brand new hot little 350 or 383 engine in there. I think you'll be happier in the long run with more room for expansion to higher power levels if you so desire.

Qwktrip has a very valid point, I agree.

But to answer your question, as you are new to this, just forget a turbocharger. Installing one of those in a thirdgen is not by any means for a novice.

Hi, Swede.

If you decide to add a poweradder, go for a supercharger, there are some nice complete kits to buy. I have a friend here in sweden who has a turbo on his 3'rd gen but he has swiched to carb set up. If you would like to talk/discus it mail me.
