Cubes and turbo... check this out!!!

Here's an example of what cubic inches does with a turbo. The car was on only 12 psi.

and here's the racing video.

The Supra that walks by in the end has 900+ RWHP.

Now that is what I'm talking about! More fireakin power than a rich man knows what to do with besides brag and floor it less than 4 seconds at a time.

Seriously, that is why the import idiots will never get power, its all in the cubes, then you boost it, don't even have to rev it that high. Imagine a high revving 540 big block with a pair of turbos, maybe 2000hp or so.

I've got a lumberyard in my shorts.

This whole race thing was detailed much better at the Corvette forum where the Supra owners posted. Without reading through it again I thought the one Supra made well over 900 with a 50 shot of nitrous.

Sorry, I did get it wrong. The Viper was boosted to 12 psi and made 931 RWHP SAE uncorrected. I got it all mixed up.

here some highlights from hennessey's post on this.

"Here are a few details for my fellow power freaks:
Venom 800 Twin Turbo, running 12 psi boost, motor has stock bottom end. Best pull of the day netted an actual power output of 931 rw hp and 952 rw lb-ft. This was done in an ambient air temp of 61 deg F. The numbers corrected down to SAE and were 883 rw hp and 902 rw lb-ft. 7 pulls were made today and peak SAE corrected numbers were between 840 - 883 rw hp (depending on heat soak, fuel calibration). This V10 is making over 700 rw hp from 3500 rpm to 6000 rpm!"

Although not too clear, it appears the viper ran bryce supra at 7 PSI of boost
