New super charger for the LS1?
I was talking to my local parts guy at Pontiac today and he told me about a new kit that is coming out. It's the same style as what the Grand Prix and Regals have ( i can't remember the type) The company is Magnus/Magnum or something like that. Its around $3100 for the kit and even fits under the stock hood. It seems pretty darn cool to me, does anyone know about it?
The s/c's on the GM 3.8 are made by Eaton, and from what I understand are very reliable. A lot of guys run them well over 100k without failure. I wonder what kind of numbers they will put up on an LS1?

I am sure they will add a nice kick to the keester. He is itching to get one because with the centrifugal type you have to take it all back off to do any kind of work under the hood. They claim a 12 hour install.

I've never heard of that company, but if they do a little advertising, they'll find plenty of LS1-ers who are willing to try something new. On average, a stock LS1 + supercharger seems to equal 400-430 rwhp. Obviously lots of potential if the motor has bolt-ons or internal work.
