Mods to do before I get N2O

I plan on getting a Nitrous Express kit for my car soon when I have plenty on time to do it right(College Student). So what would be some good mods to do to my car before the N2O. Another question I have is that I made a cold air intake from Home Depot stuff, will I be able to use this or will I have to put the stock intake back on. My mods are in my signature. Thanks.

I think you should be able to use your intake stuff just fine. I did a total fuel system upgrade bigger fuel pump, injectoers and a AFPR. Also when you get your kit look in to what they call a window switch this has an RPM window that the N2O can opperate in so it never hitts to low or too high.

I'll look into the window switch, that sounds like a good feature. I think I will do the AFPR, but do I really need to upgrade the fuel pump and injectors on my 305?

I would get a gauge and see if you system is still up to OE specs if so then you are probably ok if not then get them.

PS- I responded to you post in the TPI board also and then saw it was the same person sorry.
